Well where do I start! ok... Thursday night.. Tayla was peeling the carrots (she loves to do this) & decided to peel a potato! well she did ok until she sliced through the top of her finger & her nail!!! the bleeding just wouldn't stop she was almost beside herself poor sweetie... it really must have hurt, it was a brand new peeler OUCH! we got her cleaned up, no stitches needed! & she's all good again! Friday.. off to Dreamworld or a few hours, Saturday.. shopping.. kids got the Nintendo Wii... they're having a blast... so is DAD! Sunday.. we rush Nick off to the Allamanda hospital... asthma attack!! waited for over 45mins (while TWO doctors sat talking) while my son can hardly breathe, finally one of them gets up & comes over. They gave him a strong dose of steriods & told hubby if he didn't improve to bring him straight back... then proceeded to charge us $225.00 for the visit which is fine, but get this... it was for a LONG CONSULTATION!!!! the doctor was only with them for about 10-15mins!!! I don't mind paying... I simply don't have any faith in the public system in emergencies.. been there done that! that's why we went private!!! I don't put a price on my son's life... but I'm absolutely annoyed about where they get off sometimes, they sit around for 3/4 quarters of an hour before they attend their patients then charge like wounded bulls!!!
Well now that's off my chest... Nick is slowly recovering, I've kept him home so I can keep an eye on him!!
